Featuring the Grand Auditorium body shape, this limited 50th Anniversary Builder's Edition 314ce boasts a top of Sitka spruce in a natural finish, and a back and sides of sustainably sourced urban ash. The body's classic design offers some contemporary twists, in the form of an ergonomic, comfortable profile with beveled edges where the forearm rests, as well as the cutaway, and with chamfered edges all around the body.
The mahogany neck of the 314ce LTD is also designed for optimal comfort and playability, and features a West African Crelicam ebony fretboard with a nut width of 1.75" and a total scale length of 25.5". The dark color of this ebony fingerboard is a stark contrast to the naturally finished Sitka spruce top.
Equipped with Taylor's renowned Expression System 2 (ES2) electronics, the Builder's Edition 314ce LTD allows exceptional amplified performance. The ES2 system captures the natural acoustic sound of the guitar with clarity and detail, and features intuitive controls found discretely in the form of a Volume and Tone knob.
This Builder's Edition instrument comes finish in a Silent Satin, the Builder's Edition 314ce LTD exudes understated elegance and sophistication. Its natural top finish allows the beauty of Sitka spruce to be put on display, and its Curve Wing bridge underlines the attention to detail that went into building this beautiful guitar.
