This Rare Vinterua County Star Free Press 12/30/1942 "30,000 Germans Defeated..." fun to check out during the early war years. Newspapers were never made to last, so any that have lasted this long are amazing. This newspaper we have had in our store for over 40 years. We have had them on display in a cabinet. What a fantastic find - a WWII newspaper that you can read as it unfolded. To the best of our knowledge an authentic newspaper - the person who gave it to us told us he had it for many years and we trust him. The paper has been folded and stored for years so it is a little brittle and where the folds are there is damage as well as the edges. A fantastic piece of history in your hands. Great for display
