Volledig in paniek belt ze een lokale taxi om de achtervolging in te zetten. Als haar man hoort wat er is gebeurd, gaat hij achter vrouw en kind aan. Zo racen ze niet alleen naar het einde van de wereld, maar ook naar avonturen vol verlangen. De wilde zuidenwind wordt verliefd op de naaister en een monsterachtig kind neemt het op tegen de vrachtwagenchauffeur. De halsbrekende achtervolging wordt afgewisseld met Aira’s meeslepende overpeinzingen en herinneringen aan zijn jeugd in zijn geboorteplaats, de arbeidersstad Coronel Pringles. César Aira (1949) is geboren in Coronel Pringles, Argentinië. Sinds 1967 woont hij in Buenos Aires. Hij wordt beschouwd als een van de origineelste schrijvers van Zuid-Amerika en heeft meer dan honderd titels op zijn naam staan. Hij schrijft geregeld voor El País en zijn werk is in vele landen vertaald. Eerder verschenen van hem bij Koppernik Een episode uit het leven van een landschapsschilder, Het literatuurcongres en De haas.

The Real Deal

Fresh, clean and potent. I have probably experimented with 20 shampoo and conditioners over the past 5 years looking for one that does everything I want it to. It's a sparkling mint meets teakwood meets citrus—refreshing without being overpowering. Little goes a long way: a pea-size amount lathers well, and it's left my hair noticeably softer and more manageable over time. I can't get the shampoo to lather
Style: Shampoo & Conditioner Set
I've put a quarter-size dollop of the shampoo on my hair and it just vanishes. It's not because we have hard water, because we don't. I get tons of lather from small amounts of other products.
When I increase the amount of shampoo to about a fifty cent piece size, it just smears around. Almost like I'm trying to shampoo with hand lotion. I actually get a pretty good amount of lather from the conditioner. Much more than the shampoo. Maybe they put the wrong product in the wrong bottles? Either that or something must be wrong with my batch of shampoo?
