Wordt geleverd op rol zonder aangegoten connectoren, ideaal wanneer de kabel door loze leidingen getrokken moet worden. Een soepele kabel wordt in principe altijd gebruikt wanneer er aan beide uiteindes connectoren gemonteerd worden. Gaat u gebruik maken van wandcontactdozen of patch panels? Dan heeft u een kabel met stugge kern nodig. Een kabel met soepele kern is hier niet geschikt voor en zal dan ook niet werken.

Wat is het verschil tussen UTP, FTP en S/FTP?

Bovenstaande termen geven aan of de kabel geen, één of meerdere afschermingen heeft. Een UTP kabel is niet afgeschermd en installatie in de buurt bij andere kabels kan leiden tot storingen.
