PLX Omnicem flexibele all-round poedertegellijm is een universele, hoogwaardige tegellijm die zeer geschikt voor verschillende soorten tegels. Deze universele tegellijm is zeer geschikt voor het verlijmen van keramische tegels, natuursteen en (glas)mozaïek op zowel vloeren als wanden, deze tegellijm is binnen en buiten toepassing zeer geschikt.

Voorbereiding van de ondergrond

Zorg ervoor dat de ondergrond stabiel is, schoon en vrij van stof, vuil en vet. Zuigende en gladde oppervlakken moeten eerst worden behandeld met een geschikte primer, zoals Omnibind TP of Omnibind TPW voor vochtige ruimtes. Bekijk hiervoor naar onze primers zuigende ondergronden of niet zuigende ondergronden. Scheuren in de ondergrond moeten eerst gerepareerd worden voordat je begint met tegelen.

Hoe verwerk je de lijm?

  1. Meng 7,5 liter schoon water met 25 kg van de tegellijm.
  2. Voeg eerst het water toe in een emmer en meng vervolgens de lijm erdoorheen. Gebruik hiervoor een mixer op lage snelheid, en meng het geheel minimaal 4 minuten tot het een gladde, klontvrije massa is.
  3. Breng de lijm gelijkmatig aan op de ondergrond met een getande lijmkam.
  4. Druk de tegels stevig in de lijm en beweeg ze licht om een goede hechting te krijgen.
  5. Je hebt ongeveer 30 minuten de tijd om de tegels te leggen en nog kleine aanpassingen te doen.

Verbruik

Per 25 kg heb je ongeveer 2,5 kg per m² nodig, afhankelijk van de ondergrond en het type tegel dat je gebruikt.

  • Open tijd (de tijd die je hebt om de tegels te leggen): 30 minuten
  • De lijm is vorst- en waterbestendig, en werkt goed met vloerverwarming.

Opslag en houdbaarheid

Bewaar de lijm op een droge plek. In de originele verpakking blijft hij 12 maanden houdbaar.

Bringing a 1976 MG Midget to the modern world!

I've been restoring a 1976 MG Midget barn find. I bought some Sinless liner to help make the car rattle less and feel more solid. This product is easy to cut, easy to install, and extremely sticky. I used it to line the trunk, the interior, and even some under the hood of the old MG. The adhesive stands up to the brutal temperature of the engine bay, and when (by accident) some fuel spilled onto the foam, it didn't fall apart or turn to mush. Thanks to Siless, the MG now feels like a modern car. The floor pans feel much more solid, the doors make a heftier thud when you close them, and the trunk no longer sounds like a percussion instrument when you touch it. If you know what you're doing, this product will transform the feel of a car. I found that 36 sq ft was enough for my MG Midget, but for a bigger car I would want more. The pattern on the back helped me to cut perfectly measured squares and rectangles. The foam itself doesn't have a strong odor, it works super well, and has held up to several months of changing temperatures (in the Midwest US.)
