Vraag Mitski Miyawaki naar geluk en ze waarschuwt je: "Geluk verneukt je." Het is een les die al jaren diep verankerd zit in haar rauwe, outsider-songwriting, maar nooit zo krachtig als op haar album uit 2016, Puberty 2. "Geluk is omhoog, verdriet is omlaag, maar het ene is bijna destructiever dan het andere," zegt ze. "Als je beseft dat je het ene niet kunt hebben zonder het andere, is het mogelijk om periodes van geluk gewoon door te brengen met wachten op die andere golf." Op Puberty 2 is die spanning voelbaar: een prachtig en bruut romantisch grensgebied, waarin een van de meest karakteristieke stemmen uit de moderne muziek volledig scherp in beeld kwam.

2026 markeert het tienjarig jubileum van dat mijlpaalalbum, waarvan de tracklist fanfavorieten als "Your Best American Girl" en "I Bet on Losing Dogs" bevat. Ter gelegenheid hiervan brengen Mitski en Dead Oceans een gelimiteerde heruitgave van Puberty 2 uit op Forest Shadow-vinyl, die op 30 oktober 2026 zal verschijnen. Puberty 2 wordt ook gevierd met een digitale deluxe-versie, met bonustracks van de originele Japanse cd: de al langer bij fans geliefde covers van "Fireproof" van One Direction en "I'm a Fool to Want You" van Frank Sinatra.

I’m not sure if it was from the same seller or not but those ones they don’t favor as much for some reason I seen the same different colors. My dog even sleeps with it sometimes. The picture shows for sleeping with it. I’m definitely happy. I got these. They are tough. I like the fact that they have those little recessed holes so they can grab a hold of it and not get it all slimy like the other balls we have.
