The emphasis will be on western style carving, students will be shown how to correctly use the appropriate tools to achieve results as per Al Stohlman step by step
HOW EXCITING!
This workshop covers techniques on the traditional style tooling/carving.
Become acquainted with the leather crafter's swivel knife and the designed use of embossing/carving tools. Learn about moisture content, then how to create beautiful designs for your projects.
The emphasis will be on western style carving, students will be shown how to correctly use the appropriate tools to achieve results as per ‘Al Stohlman’ step by step techniques, you will then understand the correct method of tool application to gain confidence .
This workshop is limited to ten students to ensure everyone receives personal attention.
All tools, including swivel knife will be supplied by the tutor
However, if you have your own basic set of carving tools and want to use them , feel free to bring them along.
This workshop is an exceptional experience , run by the amazing Cheryl and you will love every minute!
