Instead, improve the power, efficiency, and maximize flow on your 17-19 GM Duramax with Mishimoto’s hot side intercooler pipe and boot kit.
The factory hot-side pipe for the L5P is a measly 2.5" that chokes the engine, while the tight bends and built-in resonator create even more restriction. The Mishimoto hot-side intercooler pipe is 3" in diameter throughout and eliminates the factory resonator to significantly increase airflow, resulting in more power potential. Mishimoto designed this pipe as two pieces, like the factory pipe, for ease of install. This kit also includes our silicone boots with DuraCore technology. Mishimoto DuraCore technology is the synthetic material that comprises the innermost layer of all Mishimoto silicone diesel boots. Compared to normal silicone, DuraCore provides superior resistance to heat, pressure, fuel, and oil. This effectively increases the life of our boots by preventing leaks and blowouts.
To add even more reliability, this kit includes Mishimoto constant-tension T-bolt clamps for accurate and consistent holding power. The Mishimoto 2017-2019 Chevrolet/GMC 6.6L Duramax L5P hot-side intercooler pipe and boot kit is a direct bolt-on upgrade and is available in a polished or wrinkle-black powder coated finish. This hot-side intercooler pipe and boot kit includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty for a lifetime of performance.
