PolyMide™ is a family of Nylon/polyamide based filaments. Produced with Polymaker’s Warp-Free™ technology, PolyMide™ filaments deliver engineering properties intrinsic to Nylon and ease of printing.

PolyMide™️ PA6-CF is a carbon fibre reinforced nylon filament featuring 20% chopped carbon fibres by weight. Within Polymakers range of nylon filaments, PolyMide™ PA6-CF delivers best in class stiffness, strength and heat resistance and superior z axis tensile strength to outperform many other functional 3D printing materials in "dry state". Together with 20% industrial chopped carbon fibres, Polymakers Fibre-Adhesion™ technology optimises the surface chemistry of the fibres to achieve better dispersion and bonding to the Nylon 6 matrix and delivers an outstanding filament for functional applications.

  • Excellent Stiffness & Strength - Featuring a tensile modulus up to 7.4 GPA on the XY axis and 4.3 GPA on the Z axis, PolyMide™ PA6-CF is well suited for high performance industrial and engineering applications. PolyMide™ PA6-CF combines extreme stiffness and best-in-class tensile strength. PolyMide™ PA6-CF is an excellent choice for dry applications[1] requiring stiffness and durability such as automotive brackets, jigs, ESD safe fixtures, aerospace, prosthetics and engineering.
  • Excellent Heat Resistance - Featuring a high heat resistance up to 215°C after annealing[2], PolyMide™ PA6-CF offers excellent heat resistance for demanding applications where heat and stress are critical design factors. This material lends itself perfectly to functioning automotive applications where a combination of heat resistance and mechanical properties are required. 
  • Outstanding Layer Adhesion - Most fiber reinforced materials show a decrease in z-axis layer adhesion when compared with their non-fiber reinforced Nylons, producing a part that is only stronger on the X-Y axis but detrimental to the Z axis. Polymakers new technology in PolyMide™ PA6-CF not only solves this problem but actually increases Z axis tensile strength creating more isotropic parts that are strong in every direction.
  • Warp-Free™ - PolyMide™ PA6-CF features Polymakers Warp-Free™ technology to deliver a reliable Nylon filament with excellent dimensional stability and near-zero warpage. This is achieved by the fine control of microstructure and crystallisation behaviour of Nylon, which enables the material to fully release the internal stress before solidification. The Warp-Free™ technology in PolyMide™ PA6-CF is designed to work best with minimal bed temperatures.
  • Wear Resistant and Tough - Parts printed in PolyMide™ PA6-CF display excellent toughness and wear resistant properties.
  • ESD Safe - PolyMide™ PA6-CF is an ESD safe material making it a suitable candidate for printing electronic jigs and fixtures
  • Improved Printability – Unlike many other Nylon filaments, PolyMide™ PA6-CF is extremely easy to work with, exhibiting excellent dimensional stability. It is compatible with most filament-based 3D printers with no heated bed or chamber required!

[1] Most Nylon parts in the real world undergo a process called "Moisture conditioning" which improves toughness and flexibility of the Nylon while reducing tensile strength and stiffness. Unless protected with a moisture barrier, PA6-CF shows a greater change in mechanical properties when subjected to water / high humidity in comparison to long-chain nylon filaments like PA12-CF or PA612-CF. In simple terms PA6-CF will typically offer the best properties in a dry application, but for a wet or high humidity application a longer chain nylon such as PA612 or PA12 may be better. [2] PolyMide™ PA6-CF displays the best mechanical and thermal properties when fully crystallised. The printed part will not reach full crystallisation during the printing process, an additional step is required: Annealing. PolyMide™ PA6-CF can be annealed in the oven at 80˚C for 6 hours right after the printing process.

Daily Drinker Warning: Great Energy, but Watch Your Teeth!

No sugar which is great and this energy drink has become a staple but it is also very acidic so watch out if you have very thin teeth like me. I often find it increasing my sensitivity by a lot so a sensitivity toothpaste daily is essential for me since I drink these daily. The feeling or energy from these is great, I have been drinking similar ones like G fuel for years and this gives me significantly more energy. A quick tip though is many dollar trees have Gfuel available so if you need sugar free energy drinks like me, they provide cheaper deals - currently dollar tree has G fuel for 1.25$ a can which is quite cost effective compared to Ghost. Drinkability is mixed with Ghost, they are strong drinks. I often find G fuel being very refreshing and enjoyable while Ghost is very concentrated. Comparison - Gfuel vs. Ghost ingredients and focus Ghost: Focus - Cognitive function, energy metabolism, and premium/transparent sourcing. Caffeine - Natural from coffee beans Nootropics - Alpha-GPC, NeuroFactor™ Coffee Fruit Extract. Performance - Carnipure® L-Carnitine L-Tartrate, Taurine. I FINALLY found the perfect flavored water!

I initially ran across this water b/c it was on sale at my local grocery store and it was NOT what I was expecting at all! I genuinely dislike drinking plain water regardless if it's from the tap, filtered in any way or bottled, regardless of the brand. I will only drink regular water if I absolutely have no other choice. Over many years I have tried numerous types of flavored waters (regular or carbonated), flavored electrolyte drinks, flavor packets or dissolving tablets, etc. If it's out there I've probably tried it. I am also very attached to sugar, so I didn't mind if they were heavy on the sugar/flavor profile, but I was still looking for something that was more on the pure water side as it's healthier, but also something that would quench my thirst and hydrate me instead of leaving me feeling like I needed more. I will, at times, order water w/ a lemon wedge and do have some packets that give a very light flavor of lemon or orange in comparison to everything else I listed above. For some reason these were "sufficient", but still not what I was really looking for. HINT says it all in its name. It gives you a perfect amount of infused flavor rather than syrups, powders, artificial flavoring, etc. It will definitely throw you off for a second the first time you try it b/c it truly isn't like anything else out there that I've tried and is delightfully unexpected. The first time I tried it I THOUGHT it was going to be a disappointment b/c initially I thought it tasted like regular bottled water. Where is the flavor here? But in a matter of a second I tasted the infused flavor profile and it was wonderful. I went around my house and had others try it, knowing they were expecting the same thing I did, and they too were impressed and surprised. I am still amazed at the way this water tastes and I now order by the case. Because this water is so perfectly balanced and refreshing I have almost completely stopped drinking anything else. For the past 6 weeks or so I have continued to only drink HINT (admittedly I have purchased 2-20oz bottles of soda as a treat), but I do not have any desire to drink anything else. I actually drink water now, and I can't believe I'm saying that. If you are a water drinker that wants a little bit more, I suggest this product. If you are like me and have spent decades looking for water that is flavored, but still hydrates and refreshes like regular water, look no longer. HINT is unique and bottled perfection.
