2025 King Charles III 'Royal Arms' Proof Full Sovereign

We are delighted to be able to offer a limited number of sets and individual proof sovereigns for sale. The new 2025 proof sovereigns feature the Royal Arms design by Jean Baptiste Merlen which includes the Hanoverian Arms in the centre that first appeared on the sovereign in 1825. The Arms of the house of Hanover only appeared on the sovereign between the years of 1825 - 1837, Queen Victoria being a female was not entitled to the throne of Hanover and later shield reverse sovereigns would only include the arms of the 4 home nations.

The obverse carries the portrait of King Charles III by Martin Jennings with the legend : 'CHARLES III · DEI · GRA · REX · FID · DEF' '2025' in Latin this translates to “King Charles III, reigning by the Grace of God, Defender of the Faith,”. This is only the second time the date has been included on the obverse of the sovereign since 1874.

Really good read, and leaves questions
Format: Paperback
Nice to see the Ben Solo story flushed out more than what was shown in The Last Jedi and The Rise Of Skywalker. A good job also of not explaining everything. Ben mentions something about what Skywalker did to Snoke, and then there's the Emperor himself speaking to Ben in his mind, which makes one wonder, if even the Emperor was his own voice in Ben's head, why didn't Kylo recognize him in The Rise Of Skywalker. Plenty of things left to really expand upon this very good story.

Excellent Story
Format: Paperback
Charles Soule is without a doubt one of the greatest Star Wars authors around. With this comic he keeps the reader on their toes making it hard to set the book down. It is a definite page turner and easily one of the best comics Marvel has out out under the Star Wars name. An intriguing story, unforgettable moments, and packed with lore, Star Wars fans are sure to love The Rise of Kylo Ren.

Ben Solo’s fall is tragic
Format: Paperback
We don’t know much about Ben Solo’s past, but this comic explains a little bit more about why he is the way he is. It also explains that he didn’t do all the things he himself implies in TLJ. It’s a story of a young man who is lost because those he is supposed to trust betray him, which is exactly what Snoke/Palpatine want. It shows he didn’t really have a choice in the path he took and it makes his redemption at the end of the saga powerful, even if the last movie itself destroys the myth of Star Wars. I love knowing that Rey and Ben have always had a connection and I hope that is something explored more deeply in Episode X when they bring Ben back.
