Straight-up 5g citrulline for easy pumps and blood flow in your stack

Dark Labs L-Citrulline keeps it simple as a single-ingredient nitric oxide booster. It's all about delivering pure L-Citrulline without any extras. No stims, no flavors messing with the scoop, no prop blends, and no filler ingredients for show. This amino acid powder is made for athletes who want to control their blood flow, endurance, and recovery without a locked-in pre-workout setup.

Each scoop gives you 5,000mg of L-Citrulline. That's key because L-Citrulline is a top pick for nitric oxide support in sports supps. It turns into L-arginine in your body, but it's way better than taking arginine straight up since it skips a lot of breakdown in the liver. Once absorbed, your kidneys convert it to L-arginine, which helps make nitric oxide. That leads to wider blood vessels, better blood flow, and more oxygen and nutrients getting to your muscles during workouts. Plus, citrulline helps clear out ammonia through the urea cycle—ammonia is that waste that builds up and makes you feel fatigued during tough sessions.

Research-wise, L-Citrulline has solid backing with over 46 clinical trials and 5 meta-analyses. It's strong on boosting arginine levels and improving blood flow and pressure. In the gym, that means better pumps, more endurance, longer sessions before you tire out, and less soreness if you dose it right.

One thing to be straight about: 5,000mg is a good effective dose, but it's a bit under the 6,000-8,000mg range you see in a lot of performance studies.

Dark Labs L-Citrulline by Dark Labs contains 5000mg L-Citrulline, a clinical dose for muscle recovery and growth.

Key Highlights

  • 5,000mg L-Citrulline per scoop— that's a solid dose from just one ingredient, no fluff. You get real control over your nitric oxide boost instead of crossing fingers on a prop blend.
  • Pure L-Citrulline, not some mixed pump formula—this is the amino acid most folks grab for better blood flow. It ramps up arginine levels smartly by dodging the issues with taking arginine directly.
  • Solid science behind it—L-Citrulline turns into L-arginine in your kidneys, fueling nitric oxide that widens vessels and gives you that full pump feel during sets.
  • Backed by real research—over 46 clinical trials and 5 meta-analyses make L-Citrulline a proven player for nitric oxide and workout support, not just some hype ingredient.
  • Boosts pumps, stamina, and workout flow—better blood flow gets oxygen and nutrients to your muscles, and citrulline helps dump ammonia. That's huge for tough sets, high-rep days, and intense training weeks.
  • Totally open label—one ingredient, one dose, no hidden blends. In a world of shady pump supps, Dark Labs lets you see exactly what you're scooping.
  • No stims at all—no caffeine, no weird energy boosters, no crash. Great for night workouts, stim-sensitive people, or when you want to add your own energy kick.
  • Dose it your way—5g is a strong starting point, and bigger guys or pros can bump it to match the 6-8g from studies. Pure powders let you dial it in, unlike fixed pre-workouts.

Who Is This For?

  • Bodybuilders in high-volume phases chasing pump quality, muscle swell, and tight mind-muscle feel. The 5,000mg pure L-Citrulline boosts NO and flow without forcing stims when you just want better sessions.
  • Evening gym rats training post-work who need gains without killing sleep. Pure citrulline means better flow and workouts at 7 p.m. minus stim hangover.
  • Stim-sensitive folks who get jittery or queasy from heavy pres. This gives a real backed ingredient while you decide on caffeine.
  • Stack builders ditching all-in-ones. Dark Labs L-Citrulline fits perfect with creatine, electrolytes, caffeine, glycerol, or nitrates per session.
  • Lifters with pres skimping on 2-4g citrulline wondering about weak pumps. Adding 5g standalone brings it to real levels easy.
  • Cross-trainers and functional fitness peeps in repeated efforts where fatigue hits fast. Citrulline's NO and ammonia clear help keep output up in intervals and tough blocks.

How to Use

Mix 1 scoop in 8-16 oz water and down it 30-45 minutes pre-workout. That gives L-Citrulline time to kick in for arginine and NO before heavy lifting. If you're smaller, chilling, or stacking with citrulline already in your pre, stick to 1 scoop. Bigger or wanting 6-8g like studies? Bump it up easy with pure powder. Shaker's best, but stirring into water or pre-drink works. Take it away from big meals to feel it faster, though light eats are fine. Stacks great with caffeine, creatine, glycerol, nitrates, electrolytes. No cycling—it's not a stim. Keep it sealed cool and dry to avoid clumps.

What to Expect

Minutes 0-10: you mix and sip a basic unflavored powder, no buzz or tingles. Minutes 10-25: no big feel, since citrulline boosts flow, not your nerves. Minutes 25-45: as you start lifting and muscles work, you'll notice quicker fullness and easier pumps. Minutes 45-90: it shines in keeping sets strong—less drop-off, better rep feel, more output in volume. Days 1-7: figure your dose and stacks like caffeine or glycerol. Weeks 2-4: it clicks, especially in hypertrophy, with reliable pumps and easier recovery. It's subtle and useful, not flashy.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much L-Citrulline is in each serving of Dark Labs L-Citrulline?

Each scoop provides 5,000mg of pure L-Citrulline. This is a fully disclosed single-ingredient formula with no proprietary blend and no other active ingredients competing for scoop space.

Is 5g of L-Citrulline enough to feel a difference?

Yes, 5g is a legitimate effective dose and many users will notice improved pump, better blood flow, and more productive high-volume training from it. That said, the most common performance-focused research range is 6,000-8,000mg, so larger athletes or advanced users may choose to increase the serving size to align more closely with the literature.

Does Dark Labs L-Citrulline contain caffeine or stimulants?

No. This is a stim-free product centered entirely on L-Citrulline, which makes it useful for evening workouts, stim-sensitive users, and custom stack building.

When should I take Dark Labs L-Citrulline before training?

Take it about 30-45 minutes before your workout. That gives your body time to absorb the citrulline and begin increasing arginine availability for nitric oxide production as your session starts.

Can I stack this with my current pre-workout?

Yes, and that is one of the best uses for a product like this. If your current pre-workout underdoses citrulline or focuses mostly on caffeine, adding standalone L-Citrulline can improve pump support without forcing you to replace the rest of your routine.

What does L-Citrulline actually do in the body?

L-Citrulline is converted to L-arginine in the kidneys, and that arginine is then used to produce nitric oxide. Nitric oxide relaxes blood vessels, improving circulation, while citrulline also contributes to ammonia clearance through the urea cycle, which is relevant during hard training.

Is this better than taking L-Arginine directly?

For most users, citrulline is the more reliable option for raising arginine levels because it bypasses major first-pass metabolism that limits oral arginine efficiency. That is why citrulline has become the preferred nitric oxide precursor in modern sports nutrition formulas.

Do I need to cycle Dark Labs L-Citrulline?

No cycling is generally necessary. L-Citrulline is not a stimulant, does not create caffeine-like tolerance concerns, and is commonly used consistently on training days or even daily by athletes.

Can I use this for cardio or endurance training, not just lifting?

Yes. While many users think of citrulline as a pump ingredient, its effects on blood flow and ammonia handling also make it relevant for endurance sessions, intervals, and repeated-effort training.

Is this product flavored?

Available information indicates a straightforward powder format intended for simple mixing and stacking. Because it is a single-ingredient citrulline product, most users treat it as a neutral base to combine with water or other workout supplements.

Nice elegant suit for any occasion.
Color: Light Blue, Size: 12, Color: Light Blue, Size: 12
The suit set is very nice, the fabric material is durable and soft. Overall stitching is tight with nice surging of the hems and great construction on the shoulders. Buttons and button wholes are well done. I'm going to iron in the creases on the front of the pants because they weren't folded properly for shipping. The material does hold on to wrinkles so don't be afraid of your iron to get a super sharp look. The color is a soft baby blue that stands out in a crowd of black suits. With the option of an elastic tie or clip on bowtie this is everything you need to make him look presentable for a variety of occasions. My only complaint about this suit kit is the dress shirt is stiff and thin. I found some loose threads that I don't trust to not get played with. I'll probably trade it out for something with a little more cotton. As far as cost goes mid range, but definitely worth the cost. I might consider something with a vest if it's a super formal event, but I'm very happy with how this suit comes together.

Modern luxury with summer fabric that performs above its price!
Color: Beige, Size: 14, Color: Beige, Size: 14
Wow! My son wore it for Easter Sunday and this suit fits the bill! The linen material is spot on--not too heavy and not too light especially since the weather is warming up now. The jacket is quality made--the design is modern executive, the stitches are strong no flaws to note. The pants are tad bit longer but that's okay, build quality is also great. The white shirt is decent and matches well with the rest of the set. The bow tie and tie itself is a great complimentary to the set, though optional to wear. The whole set just has that quality you would really look for in the price range you would want to pay. Overall, best value for for the, wear right outside the bag, maybe a light ironing otherwise it's perfect! I highly recommend it, no complaints here very happy with this suit!

Heavy linen character, but a beautifully tailored suit!
Color: Beige, Size: 4, Color: Beige, Size: 4
This is a really nice linen suit! The jacket is beautifully made and well-tailored, with a fun speckled texture that has lots of pretty color variation (we ordered the beige). When I placed it side by side with a similar linen suit from another brand, the difference in the linen texture was really noticeable — this had a much stronger linen character that stands out! It has three useful pockets on the outside of the jacket, which is great for little hands. The only downside is that one of the inside pockets is just for show (faux), which was a bit surprising and somewhat disappointing for my little guy. The pants have pockets too, but they aren’t very deep — perfect for small treasures, but not much more. The pants are made from a lighter, thinner single-layer linen compared to the fully lined, double-layer jacket, which makes sense for comfort and easy movement. The pants didn’t come with a front crease ironed in, so you’ll want to press one yourself. The linen did pick up some creases from being folded in the package, but it doesn’t seem quite as wrinkly as some other linen fabrics I’ve tried. Still, like most linen clothes, especially for boys, the pants will need occasional ironing to keep them looking neat and crisp, especially after a day of play and general wear. The structured, lined jacket stays looking smoother and more put-together with less effort. It also came with a bow tie, a neck tie, and a tuxedo-style white shirt as extras. The ties aren’t great quality — they’d work fine for quick photos but probably won’t hold up to much actual wear. The formal white shirt feels a bit funny paired with the casual linen suit, but I don’t mind at all. We already have white shirts that we prefer, so we’ll use those instead. For us, the extras are really just bonus items we won’t plan on using. Overall, it’s a handsome little suit that’s perfect for special occasions like weddings, family photos, or holiday events. My kid looked adorable in it! The stronger linen texture on the jacket gives it a premium feel that I really like. Just be ready for a bit of extra care with the pants to keep everything sharp.

Great suit set
Color: Light Grey, Size: 4
It is incredibly attractive and includes everything a young child needs for a special occasion. The material is a 75% polyester and 25% linen blend, and the outer fabric feels remarkably smooth. Its unstructured design allows for an attractive, natural drape, and the blend conveniently allows for machine washing at home. As is typical with linen-based materials, the fabric can be naturally stiff and prone to wrinkling, so I recommend ironing or steaming it before use. The lightweight feel makes it an excellent choice for the spring, summer, and fall months. Overall, this suit offers exceptional value for the price.

Samsonite? I was way off!
Size: 8, Color: Light Blue, Size: 8, Color: Light Blue
Linen was a nice enough material and slightly distracted from the dumb&dumber blue motif. The regular suit material would have been a full homage. It is what he wanted so this was a fair compromise. Stats/ he is a size 8 in most brands, 51in and 60lbs. Purchased an 8. A size 7 would have been a better choice and more tailored look but this fit fine in the important places and he has room to grow. Short notice, quick shipping and fair quality for the price. May your Harry Dunne love it as much as mine did.
