Challenge Coins are becoming a huge collectible item these days. The history goes way back and you'll hear of different stories of the first one being made from WW2 to Vietnam and even the British. I don't know which story is true. What I do know is that soldiers love these and are awarded them when special deeds are done that are more deserving than just a pat on the back but less deserving of an achievement award. These coins will come from Generals, Colonels, Command Sergeant Majors or just about anyone in the chain of command. Almost all units in the military have designed their own unique coins. They make great keepsakes and wonderful conversational pieces.

Beautiful rug but smelly when you first unpack it.
Size: 2' x 6' (Sheepskin Pelt Patchwork), Color: Ivory White
Beautiful quality. Deep thick fur. The "patches" are noting more than where 4 or 5 inch splits, one at each end were stitched back together. I wouldn't have even called them patches. They are the same stitching as used to join the two pelts in the middle. The color is a very clean white. Being natural pelt, I was really expecting something a little more blond. I've bought New Zealand sheepskin several times before and I don't doubt this is Aussie or Kiwi sheepskin but I didn't notice this is processed in China before I bought it. Still, the only complaint I had was a strange chemical smell when I unwrapped it. It didn't smell like the tanning chemicals from previous pelts. But it's gone away after 3 weeks so I guess all's good.

I like the color. Not too white, more of a natural shade.
I ordered two, for each side of the bed. One is larger than the other which proves they are genuine pelts and I’m ok with it!!

Size is great, I wanted to use as a throw on a leather ottoman and it fit great. It isn’t exactly the color I expected but it is a neutral cream. Soft and comfortable. Well made.
