Sandbox Classic 2.0 Snow Mips Helmet

The Sandbox Classic 2.0 Snow Mips Helmet is a low-profile snow helmet built for riders who want modern style, adjustable fit, and added rotational-impact protection, combining Mips®, a dial fit system, and Sandbox’s patented airflow venting in an iconic brimmed design.

Why It Stands Out

  • Mips® Added Protection: The Classic 2.0 Snow Mips uses the Mips® Protection System to help reduce harmful rotational forces in certain impacts.
  • Iconic Brimmed Style: Sandbox pairs its recognizable brim design with a sleek, low-profile shape for a look that stands out without feeling bulky.
  • Quick Dialed Fit: The back dial fit system makes it easy to tighten or loosen the helmet for a more precise feel depending on conditions and layers.
  • Comfort-Focused Interior: A technical grid fleece comfort liner is designed to improve heat management while keeping the fit comfortable through long sessions.
  • Patented Airflow Venting: The patented airflow system with three vents is built to move excess heat and moisture through the helmet for a cooler ride.

Ideal For

The Classic 2.0 Snow Mips is a strong fit for skiers and snowboarders who want a stylish, low-profile helmet with adjustable comfort and modern safety features. It works especially well for resort riders who value fit customization, airflow, and a clean brimmed aesthetic.

Important reading for every working woman!
Format: Hardcover
Let me start by saying that this isn't a genre I am normally drawn to. I usually am a fiction reader, but a trusted friend recommended this book so highly that I felt I should give it a chance. I'm so glad I put aside my hesitation, as I really feel this is a book that every woman in the American workforce should read. It is a fascinating primer in how we got where we are, and how much effort it took to gain even our somewhat compromised equality. While the legal issues involved can be a little complex, Thomas does an excellent job of breaking them down into straightforward concepts. I also really appreciated her ability to make the whole process of moving a case up through the Court of Appeals and eventually to the Supreme Court come to life. For those of us who are not in the legal profession, this process can seem mysterious, but this book made it easy to understand. By clearly and patiently laying out the facts of each case, Thomas also gives the reader the opportunity to test their own assumptions and think through the logic of the cases for themselves. For me, it was a fascinating opportunity to weigh my assumptions about my political leanings against my intellectual analysis of the facts, and I often surprised myself. All in all, I think this is an important book, and also a surprisingly accessible and engaging one. You will feel smarter and much more informed after reading it. And if you are a woman, you may well also feel grateful for those brave women (and men) who fought and struggled to make your experience in the workplace fairer.

Like a real-life legal thriller. Especially if you're thrilled by the progress we've made.
Format: Hardcover
This book, while deeply researched and rigorous, is the opposite of legalese. Thomas's vivid, thoughtful, witty storytelling reveals the real (and courageous) people behind the cases that made employment discrimination law what it is today. It shows not just the impact of law on people, but the impact of people on law. These women's struggles (and those of the advocates at their side) are both infuriating and inspiring. (That was me on the subway yelling at the book, alternating between "WHAT THE HELL?!" and "YOU GO, IDA!") Read it on the train, read it on the beach; just read it. I have a zillion friends with spring birthdays, not to mention my mom (who came of working age during this gender-siloed Mad-Men-tastic era) and I'm buying it for every single one.

A serious read about a very relevant, non-fiction topic... not a light hearted read.
Format: Kindle
A serious non-fiction, not a leisurely novel... very detailed, lots of research went into this, and a lot to be learned from reading thru it.. an excellent education of all that leads up to our Supreme Court,... and serious relevance to the 60’s, 70’s, up to now.... for many women.

Entertaining read
Format: Kindle
I wanted to educate myself on some of the issues that are presented in this book. If you're looking for just factual case-law and supreme court decisions this is not the book you're looking for. This book presents the cases in a story and gives a lot of detail about what went on in the lives of the people involved in these lawsuits outside of the courtroom. The only thing that I wish would have been talked about in greater detail would be a more in-depth look at the opinions and reasons from the justices that were not voting in favor of the plaintiffs.
