  • OMP 60" Edge 540 ARF - Red 1,52m
  • ARTF semiscale kit of 3D aerobatic aeroplane (1,524 mm wingspan) for 1,200-1,600W brushless motor with 8S LiPo. Extremely light, Kevlar®/carbon composite reinforced balsa/plywood airframe, lots of carbon parts.

A semi scale model of the American aerobatic aeroplane for 1,200-1,600 W brushless electric motor for experienced pilots capable of the classic pattern as well as extreme 3D style.

The fuselage is of - now classic - ultra light design featuring balsa and plywood Kevlar®/carbon composite reinforced parts, detachable fibreglass cowl and large fuselage/canopy hatch allowing perfect access to the entire power system and RC gear. The engine or motor is to be fitted to a plywood/composite reinforced box using a radial mount.

The two-piece all-balsa wing with a symmetrical airfoil uses a carbon tube joiner; the wing halves are secured with screws to the fuselage. The large ailerons are controlled by a single servo each. You can install the supplied SFG winglets to the wing tips.

The empennage is a light all-balsa work; the horizontal tailplane is a single-piece, glued into the fuselage. The elevator and rudder are controlled by servos installed in the tail part of the fuselage.

The entire model is covered by the ULTRACOTE® iron-on film (ULTRACOTE® is the trade mark for the ORACOVER® film used in the USA.)

The main undercarriage features carbon composite legs, fibreglass spats and lightweight wheels; the tail wheel with a carbon bracket is coupled with the rudder.

    You will need 1,200-1,1600 W brushless electric motor , 80-100 A ESC and 30C 3,300-4,000 mAh 6S LiPo pack.

You will need at least 4-channel RC set to control your Edge 540 but 6-channel computer radio i preferred - the precise set-up of servos, optimized dual and exponential rates is the must for aerobatic flying - the pattern as well as extreme 3D.

You will need 4 fast and strong digital mini servos.

The ARTF kit contents: Oracover® covered fuselage, wing and tailplane, painted fibreglass cowl, carbon undercarriage, tail wheel assembly, wheels, set of accessories and instruction manual.

Stopped working within 3 days
Color: Blue
Worked for 3 plays. My 11 week old puppy loved this item. Unfortunately, it only lasted 3 tries before the motor stopped working. $30 for a total of 30 minutes over 3 days is robbery! I'd look at another vendor for the same type of item. We charged it after each attempt but now the motor won't turn on.

Item was returned
Color: Blue
Used it one day and partially the following day. Put on charger. Never worked again. My dog played with it but returned it as defective.

Not for super chewers
Color: Blue
This ball seems to be of good quality; has held a charge well and is easy to use. Sadly, the cover lasted less than 15 minutes with our dog.... not for aggressive chewers for sure. Pretty funny to watch the hound dog jowls shake though.

Great fun for dogs!
Color: Orange
Two of our dogs really love this! It caused a lot of barking and chasing and running around trying to grab it. It's really funny to use the remote to control it (and especially make it stop when things get a little too chaotic!) It feels durable even when pawed and bumped into and stepped on. The battery life seems good. I plugged it in overnight to charge so not sure how long it took to charge, but it has lasted quite a while with the dogs playing with it and still doesn't need a charge. It's easy to screw off one side of the ball to plug it in to charge. The size is a little bigger than a tennis ball I would say and has a soft texture.

It doesn't work.
Color: Blue
The two halves of the ball shell come apart again and again when the dog plays with them. When it is time to recharge the core, it will not take a charge. The dog loves it, but it's unsafe to play with.
