The James Beard Award-winning chef and co-owner of Philadelphia's Zahav restaurant reinterprets the glorious cuisine of Israel for American home kitchens. Ever since he opened Zahav in 2008, chef Michael Solomonov has been turning heads with his original interpretations of modern Israeli cuisine, attracting notice from the New York Times, Bon App tit, ("an utter and total revelation"), and Eater ("Zahav defines Israeli cooking in America").
Zahav showcases the melting-pot cooking of Israel, especially the influences of the Middle East, North Africa, the Mediterranean, and Eastern Europe. Solomonov's food includes little dishes called mezze, such as the restaurant's insanely popular fried cauliflower; a hummus so ethereal that it put Zahav on the culinary map; and a pink lentil soup with lamb meatballs that one critic called "Jerusalem in a bowl." Really like these for casual summer outfits

These are really nice kicks. Stylish, comfortable, and eye catchy for sure. Not too heavy, good price, and fit well. These are great, casual white shoes for a summer outfit.
I gave it 4 out of 5 stars as these do pick up and hold onto dirt and smudges more than I’d like to see. Yes, I know, white shoes are magnets for this stuff, but these tend to scuff and discolor more than I would have assumed. I live in an area with lots of bad weather most of the year so I only get a chance to wear them for a few months of the year unless I want to brave the wet and muddy weather. If you live in an area that has lots of sun and are willing to put these to the test and clean them often, I would say go for it.
