Vintage instruments tell us stories. They bring the past to life. Listening to the unique character of tube amplifiers, enjoying the warm sound of vinyl albums or driving a classic car...you get the idea. So we transformed the original Sonor sound, look and feel of the fabulous 50's, 60's and 70's drums into a contemporary concept: the Vintage Series.
We dedicated special attention to the re-design of the Vintage lug. Maintaining the original shape we integrated the TuneSafe system for maximum de-tuning prevention. (An update even the vintage purists will appreciate, we hope.)
Sonor's unique CLTF "Cross Lamination Tension Free" and OSM "Optimum Shell Measurement" process (slightly narrowed outside shell measurement) provide excellent sustain and easy tuning.
Like in the original Teardrop drums, the VINTAGE drum series feature hand-selected premium German Beech shells with rounded bearing edges.
Vintage Series shells are made with 9 plies of select German beech for a 6mm total thickness. The rounded bearing edges deliver a warm tone with deep low end and great resonance.
Utilizing rounded bearing edges, the new VINTAGE series drums represent the return of the 'old SONOR sound' into its product line. SONOR introduced the 45 degree bearing edge in 1975, which we still use today on all SQ2, Prolite, and AQ series drums. With the addition of the Vintage Series, drummers will have access to a complete palette of sounds that is uniquely SONOR.
Available with the re-issue of the classic “iron”-shape bracket, which fits all Sonor single- and double-tomholder.

Amazing recipes, but a visually exhausting thing to read

The recipes in this book are amazing. Reading through them and flipping back and forth through the pages you can tell Molly put a lot of time and attention into making powerful recipes packed with flavor, with all of them being incredibly approachable in actual technique. There are too many good things to call out with this collection of recipes. But existing as an easily digestible and referenced cookbook, it kind of sucks. The editing in this book is supposed to be *fun*. There are random font styles in every page and sometimes there are weird lines that become wavy. There are points in the book where there’s suddenly a cocktail recipe thrown into a chapter about salads or sandwiches. Great sounding cocktails, but ones you’ll need to scan the recipe list for since how would you be able to know which chapter it was thrown into? At the end of the day I feel like a cookbook should be an easy tool for someone to use in the kitchen when there’s already so much going on. The book is visually exhausting to read, but looks very very delicious to make from.

I loved Cook This Book. Mine has a permanent crease on the Caesar salad page and the other recipes I have tried have all been winners, so I was excited to get Molly’s next book. My initial browse through the recipes has me excited to try them out, I just cannot understand the choice of this awful font. It is so difficult to read and make out the letters. I can’t imagine how difficult it would be for someone with visual or reading impairments. There is even a fully black page with dark blue font that is basically unreadable (the picture I included is very kind, in real life the contrast is extremely minimal). It’s such a huge distraction from what otherwise appears to be a nice collection.

This would be a great resource for kids that are aging out of foster care and need the guidance of how to manage life. This could also serve to guide adults leaving prison. I wish I would have had something like this when I was becoming an adult because I didn't have the best guidance and figured a lot of stuff out on my own. I will make sure both my kids have a copy to guide them in the event I'm not around to help them. Overall, great book and I'm glad someone wrote it. Lol
