نبذة عن الكتاب :
رسالة دكتوراه للمؤلف، بذل بالغ جهده في الإعداد لها، وتصنيفها، وتبويبها وفق منهج علمي متميز، وقد تناول المؤلف عصر الزمخشري، ونشأته، وسيرته العلمية، ثم عرض للتطور في التأليف النحوي حتى عصر الزمخشري، مع الشواهد، وموقف النحاة منها.
وأشار أيضاً إلى مكانة الزمخشري العلمية في نفوس معاصريه ومَنْ بعدهم، مع الحديث عن آثاره العلمية.
كما تناول البحث موقف الزمخشري من الشواهد وأدلة الصناعة النحوية، وبيان رأيه في السماع والقياس، واستصحاب الحال وغير ذلك، ولم يترك المؤلف موضوع الاعتزال وأثره في دراسات الزمخشري، بل عَرض له بتوسع، مع بيان مذهبه النحوي، ونماذج من دراساته المتخصصة، وبذا تغدو الدراسة متكاملة في فصولها ومباحثها.
