This exceptional Necklace showcases a 19-Stone Spiny Oyster Shell and Sterling Silver Heart Pendant by Santa Fe artist Dan Dodson. The impressive Pendant features a large, center Spiny Oyster Shell stone that has been cut in the shape of a Heart. The stone has attractive striated coloring in hues ranging from light peach to dark coral. It is set in raised Sterling Silver Bezel, wrapped in Twisted Sterling Wire, and surrounded by 18 Spiny Oyster Shell Rounds and Ovals. The smaller stones are interspersed with 18 handcrafted Sterling Silver Balls. The presentation is striking. These elements sit on Sterling Silver Plate that has been cut to mirror the shape of the stones. The Pendant drapes from a Sterling Silver Bail with linear stamping. The piece is stamped on the back with the artist's hallmark and "Sterling."

We've paired the Heart Pendant with 3 Strands of Graduated Spiny Oyster Shell Nuggets. The Nuggets are color-matched to the Pendant stones and range in length from 3mm to 12 mm. The Spiny Oyster Shell is very high quality and has a glossy finish. The Nuggets are interspersed with 2mm Coral Rounds, which add structure to the design and allow the larger stones to be viewed from all sides. The gemstones are complemented by 4mm translucent gray Fire Polished Glass Ovals, which are faceted and give off a subtle sparkle. The Necklace is finished with Sterling Silver Rounds and Toggle Clasp and adorned with a Southwest Designs Sterling Charm.
