Abduction Records present the first vinyl LP release of Hound Dog Taylor's Hand. The trio consists of Jeffery Taylor (Climax Golden Twins/AFCGT/Spider Trio) on electric guitar, Mark Ostrowski (Monktail/Wally Shoup Quartet) on drums and John Seman (Monktail/Ask The Ages) on contrabass. The music is a heavy dose of jazz, blues, and improvisation. Sharp and destructive yet cerebral and clever, these tracks finally expose one of Seattle's best-kept secret treasures to the world as the only way you could have heard them, before would have been at one of their extremely rare live shows in the Puget Sound area or from their locally produced cassette from a few years back. The second track on side one titled "Beatrice", features Climax Golden Twins and Beatrice Harrison. Edition of 500."Hound Dog Taylor's Hand bring a highbrow brutalism and cranky chaos to jazz rock. [They] sound like Hound Dog Taylor's actual hand looks: scary and slightly off - Fans of Sonny Sharrock and Billy Cobham's Spectrum, take note." - Dave Segal, The Stranger."A new trio from Seattle, led by the guitar work of Jeffery Taylor of Climax Golden Twins. The material is blues based instrumental improvisation over a jazzoid rhythm section. Something like a cross between Taste and Rangda, I guess. With all traces of Sri Chinmoy wiped clean." - Byron Coley, Wire Magazine.

Tracks:
1.1 Fake Accent
1.2 Beatrice
1.3 Sun Rock
1.4 Relax, It's Okay
2.1 Dog Bite Lady
2.2 Freeway Park Waltz
2.3 The Right Way
2.4 Duwamish Song

Favorite Handy Toy
This snake has been around our house for years! My shitzu/maltease dog is tiny, and he has a small mouth, but I call him Diablo! He loves to growl and act like a horrible terror when it comes to fighting over a little squeaky toy, and we use the snake to try to "push" the little toy away from his mouth. He loves to bite the snake and pull on it viciously. The snake has tiny holes in it, but has pretty much stayed intact. I am getting ready to add more stuffing inside it so it won't be so floppy. years of use have flattened it out. I love this thing. Well worth the money for a small-mouthed dog. The squeaker in the head was fun while it lasted, but the beauty of this snake is its shape and versatility as a pull on, and sneak up behind toy.

80lb Dog Goes Wild Over This Pulpo
My dog goes wild over this toy. The key difference between this and other octopus chew and rip toys is that this has a head horn, crinkle legs, and a squeaker in every limb. It makes it so much fun to play with him. After he destroys the sounds, he parades it around for his victory show.

Cute toy that definitely entertains the pups.
These are adorable toys. They make a bit more noise than I expected as they have the crackly ‘stuff’ in the legs. My mastiff made it a whole day without destroying it. This is the first toy that’s survived him for more than 10 minutes, so that’s an endorsement even if it sounds bad. They are a great price for the size. If I were to say I have a wish for them, it’s that the material that makes up their belly was more durable.
