At once a horror fiction, a work of speculative theology, an atlas of demonology, a political samizdat and a philosophic grimoire, CYCLONOPEDIA is work of theory-fiction on the Middle East, where horror is restlessly heaped upon horror. Reza Negarestani bridges the appalling vistas of contemporary world politics and the War on Terror with the archeologies of the Middle East and the natural history of the Earth itself. CYCLONOPEDIA is a middle-eastern Odyssey, populated by archeologists, jihadis, oil smugglers, Delta Force officers, heresiarchs, corpses of ancient gods and other puppets. The journey to the Underworld begins with petroleum basins and the rotting Sun, continuing along the tentacled pipelines of oil, and at last unfolding in the desert, where monotheism meets the Earth's tarry dreams of insurrection against the Sun. 'The Middle East is a sentient entity - it is alive ' concludes renegade Iranian archeologist Dr. Hamid Parsani, before disappearing under mysterious circumstances. The disordered notes he leaves behind testify to an increasingly deranged preoccupation with oil as the 'lubricant' of historical and political narratives. A young American woman arrives in Istanbul to meet a pseudonymous online acquaintance who never arrives. Discovering a strange manuscript in her hotel room, she follows up its cryptic clues only to discover more plot-holes, and begins to wonder whether her friend was a fictional quantity all along. Meanwhile, as the War on Terror escalates, the US is dragged into an asymmetrical engagement with occultures whose principles are ancient, obscure, and saturated in oil. It is as if war itself is feeding upon the warmachines, leveling cities into the desert, seducing the aggressors into the dark heart of oil ...

Game-changer for me
Color: Light Grey
I’ve had a basement office for a while. I share a big room with my work bench. I’ve always just had a curtain hanging between the two, but after a promotion, I decided it was time for something more professional looking. This divider is awesome, and move-able when I need the space for my workbench activities. The frame is very sturdy - impressively sturdy even. The felt walls are thick enough to take even heavy duty tacks. There are three things that could make it even better, but none of them are enough to knock a star off my review, because this is truly a quality piece of office gear. 1. Put a magnetic strip on the top bars so that you could hang a little heavier items or add magnetic hooks. I plan to buy some magnetic tape to allow for this. 2. Allow the panels to be locked at the top. The locking wheels do a decent job of keeping everything in place, but if you could also lock the top of the frames, it would greatly increase stability. Note that it is already quite stable, but the top locks would make it very similar to actual cubicle walls. 3. Put a swivel caster on the middle wheel bars. This would allow you to configure the panels and the “feet” at angles other than 90 degrees when desired. Again, these suggestions would take a fantastic item and put it into 6-star rarefied air. It is truly a great product as-is, but I would gladly pay another $100 for this item if it had these additional features.

Flimsy and cheap screws
Screws snapped off when I tried to drill htem in and no matter how I try to get the leg pieces in they will NOT stay. Falls apart, screws snap off, the middle axle holes arent even lined up so you cant install one of the pieces in the first place.

Easy to assemble. Works well. Looks nice.
Color: Light Grey, Color: Light Grey
Works for what we need. Easy to put together. Diagram provided was clear. One of the lil screws didn't fit perfectly, but it works well enough. Came with all the lil tools you need to assemble. Product frame is sturdy and hardware (seems heavy duty enough, metal and not plastic) all fits together very nicely. Would buy again if i need another one.
