The Ricoh GR III is a compact digital camera built around a 24.2 MP APS-C CMOS sensor without optical low-pass filter, paired with the GR Engine 6 processor for high-resolution imaging and efficient noise control. It features a fixed 18.3mm f/2.8 lens (28mm equivalent) with a 6-element, 4-group optical design, optimized for edge-to-edge sharpness. The camera integrates sensor-shift 3-axis image stabilization (Shake Reduction) and a hybrid autofocus system combining phase detection and contrast detection.
It offers 14-bit RAW (DNG) capture, a native ISO range of 100–102400, and a 3.0" touchscreen LCD for direct control. The body includes in-body dust removal, USB-C charging, and built-in Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connectivity. The GR III is designed for responsive operation, with fast startup times and a compact magnesium alloy chassis.

Essential for road tripping and camping in British Columbia.

Just what we needed for a road trip with our truck camper to British Columbia and home by way of Jasper and Banff--the unexpected bonus was maps of that western part of Alberta that included the areas around Jasper and Banff. The provincial and regional parks are numerous; it is difficult to find hiking guidebooks for areas besides near Victoria. This Benchmark book has it all to help us find camping (even dispersed on public lands) and hiking and will help us narrow down any searches we might need to do on the web. This gets added to our growing collection of Benchmark and Delorme map books for the western US states.

Another fine Benchmark Atlas.
Format: Spiral-bound
We travel a lot and own 6 benchmark atlases now. They're the finest on the market and include camping and fishing information and show the forest service and other backroads. What's special about the British Columbia atlas is that it is spiral bound. I just replaced my Oregon atlas after 20 years because the cover had ripped up and torn off and the pages were falling out. I hope they will all be spiral bound from now on.

Another good Benchmark Atlas
Format: Spiral-bound
We camp frequently and own all of the Benchmark Atlases. Although, this is different due to Canadian laws, we are excited to try it out! Very detailed with information, such as small campgrounds and identifying land ownership (Forest services or BLM)
