The Nikon Coolpix A900 is a compact digital camera built around a 20.3 MP 1/2.3" BSI CMOS sensor, delivering high-resolution stills with efficient low-light performance. It features a 35x optical zoom NIKKOR lens (equivalent to 24–840mm) with Dynamic Fine Zoom up to 70x, covering ultra-wide to super-telephoto ranges. Optical Vibration Reduction (VR) stabilizes handheld shooting across the zoom span.
The camera supports 4K UHD video recording at 30p, along with full HD options and stereo sound. A 3.0" tilting LCD monitor enables flexible framing, including front-facing positioning. Integrated Wi-Fi, NFC, and Bluetooth (SnapBridge) provide continuous image transfer and remote control functionality.
Operational control includes manual exposure modes (P/S/A/M), a top-mounted mode dial, and customizable settings. Continuous shooting reaches up to 7 fps, and ISO sensitivity extends to ISO 3200, ensuring adaptability across varied shooting conditions.
