'The Visitor' embodies a kind and friendly figure.  This limited edition Visitor is covered in 24-carat gold leaf that is produced in Venice at the Mario Berta Battiloro studio. They are the last studio in Europe that artisanally transform gold into tiny sheets, a profession dating back to the 11th century.  The precious material is then carefully applied at the Laboratorio of Elisabetta Mason.  This makes the limited edition an exclusive item presented in a collector's box with certificate of authenticity.  The Visitor was created by Belgian artist Guido Deleu in 1996, as part of a contest to design a sculpture for the main entrance of a cultural centre in Flanders, Belgium.   For interior use.
