Hopeton Brown, better known as Scientist, has been a pioneering figure in the world of dub for 40 years. His early love of electronics proved fruitful when (still a teenager) he was hired at King Tubby's studio in Kingston. Brown quickly ascended the ranks and became heir to Tubby's throne, producing imaginative and technically impressive mixes that solidified his forward-looking nickname. Originally released in 1981, In The Kingdom Of Dub remains one of the best early LPs in Scientist's long career. Produced by Roy Cousins at Channel One and featuring Sly and Robbie along with members of The Revolutionaries, The Aggrovators and The Soul Syndicate, the album offers a wide range of arresting rhythms, bold effect drops and exquisitely melodic bass. From '18 Drumalie Avenue Dub' (a reference to King Tubby's address) to 'Burning Sun Dub', Scientist lays down a veritable roadmap of dub - filled with disintegrating echoes of satiny organ and textural guitar - firmly cementing his place as one of the true innovators in Jamaican popular music.

A staple in my pocket!
Format: Paperback
I’m a PA student in clinical rotations. This book helped me survive my ER rotation by guiding me with high yield information, differentials, physical exam and history to obtain. Love that it helps give insight on when to admit vs discharge in the treatment plan. Applicable across the board in family med, urgent care and other clinical settings other than ER too. I recommend this book to all students! My preceptors were very impressed in my thought processes and I have this book to thanks for that. I’ll be using this book throughout my career!

Straight to the point and everything you need
Format: Paperback
EMRA products never disappoint. I hardly leave reviews but this company makes the best resource materials out there. They have managed to distill down to the most important info needed to diagnose treat , and work up most diseases that present to the ED. I also have their quick pocket reference and I love those too. Only thing I would change is make the writing a but bigger. As one gets older it's hard to see
