We are headed back to Croatia...er...make that we are finally headed to Croatia with another wine adventure accompanied by our guest host Ilya Shchukin, owner of Vinum SloCro.   Vinum is the leading importer of Croatian and Slovenian wines in the USA and Ilya joined us in July for a trip through a virtual tasting of the Mediterranean Wines of Slovenia which included everyone's favorite, the orange Pullus Pinot Grigio.  The tasting pack for our Croatian tasting will include the 2017 Skaramuca Plavac Mali, 2015 Pilizota Babic & the 2018 Zlatan Otok White.  The event will be held on Friday, October 23rd at 7pm.

After purchasing your wine tasting pack, you will receive another email with instructions on what to do next to join us, virtually on Zoom, on the 23rd. Event is limited to 30 tasting kits so get yours before they sell out. Cheers!

Smells great and lathers well, but it’s super hard to get any volume out of the bottle, and the scent really isn’t that strong or distinctive. I don’t think I’ll buy this again and will keep looking. I’ve tried Salt & Stone Body Wash with Antioxidants for Deep Moisture and ORIBE Cote d'Azur Replenishing Body Wash as well; they’re good, but they don’t offer any noticeable scent once you’re out of the shower. I have a very sensitive nose, so I know it’s not just me.

Best Clay for Natural Look and Feel!
As a hairstylist with a very strong focus on men’s hair for over 20 years, I applaud the guys at Highland for what they are doing. A product line with quality and minimal ingredients we can actually read and understand. This clay is what I have always wanted!! Sure you’ll see some reviews talking about how there isn’t enough hold or it’s not even a medium hold when it says it’s strong hold on the package, but you have to understand, when a product is this clean, strong hold isn’t going to feel like the strong hold in the garbage products most of us have used. This is a strong hold, in terms of keeping your best natural look all day. Something you can work into place, then continuously run your hands through all day and it still looks great. The men’s clay from Davines does a wonderful job at this too, but there’s something about the finish of this product that literally brings out such a healthy natural look. Not shiny either and definitely does not give you a wet look out of the shower. If you see that kind of review, the guy most likely has greasy hair, is using cheap conditioner, or perhaps applied too much. Don’t over use this product in your application, you get the best out it. Amazing work Highland, keep it up!
